Pink Perfection - Hydrangea Blossom in Watercolor

"Even in the smallest and humblest garden, a sturdy hydrangea at once proclaims the place as the abode of a real gardener rather than a mere purchaser of plants to cover the landscape."   - Washington Park Arbortum Bulletin, 2006

Hydrangeas, big, beautiful, mop head blossoms. I can recall many a winter in Edmonton, AB, pouring over the pages of my gardening catalogues and wishing that I could order and grow these magnificent shrubs.

Several years later, and residing in Creston, BC, where the winters are significantly milder, I can now enjoy growing not one,  but several varieties of these magnificent shrubs.  This one is titled "Paris" and is one of the newer varieties from City Line.  These vibrant pink blossoms are real attention grabbers.  Brought indoors as a bouquet of fresh blossoms, or as art, displayed on the wall, they really bring a room to life!

Giclee' prints of this painting will be available within a week or two.  If you are interested, please email me and I will reserve one for you.

Enjoy your day,
