Taking tea with Lori of Tigz Designs

"Come and share a pot of tea, my home is warm and my friendship's free"

There is something very special about sitting down to tea. And last week I had the pleasure of sitting down to tea with Lori Cameron of Tigz Design.  We were enjoying a "Cream Earl Grey" tea from Lori and Bill's newest line of products, "Tigz TEA HUT Experience", a line of premium loose leaf teas from around the world.  Cream Earl Grey is a delicious and aromatic tea with a distinct creamy flavor.  The cornflower petals add a delicate floral scent, making it a truly delightful experience.
We shared some ideas and talked about our passion for what we do. We were later joined by Lori's husband Bill the other half of Tigz Designs.  I had a peak at the new "tasting room" or "tea hut" soon to be filled with a variety of teas and specialty items guaranteed to elevate your tea experience.  Lori is excitedly awaiting a new line of teapots and cups to arrive, (I'm still thinking about Lori's personal set that we had our tea in.....a beautiful pattern, rich colors and unique shape....hmm, I see a another painting taking shape).

Lori and Bill started Tigz Designs in 2006 as a greeting card business and in 2010 added a line of Gift Baskets. Their newest venture Tigz TEA HUT Experience is sure to be a hit as well!  To learn more about their product lines or to place an order, visit their website: www.tigzdesigns.com  or phone:  250-428-9450

Now I think it's time for a cup of tea....
Have an enjoyable day,

Pink Garden Fundraiser Painting Completed!

"Perhaps that is the true gift of a teatime celebration: It fills our cups with joy and warmth and friendship. May the echo of the teacups' message be heard not only on special occasions, but anytime friends come together."   ~Emilie Barnes

This painting is finally completed!  After writing many title possibilities and looking over all the suggested titles from all of you, there was one clear winner....
The Power Of Pink, suggested by Win Dinn. (I will have a package of tea cards for you the next time we get together)

This painting was created specifically for the Pink Garden Tea Fundraiser , it's goal this year is to help raise funds for "A Clear View", a new mammography machine for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.  For more information on this event and to make your reservation click here:  PinkGardenTea page

For this painting, I chose a deep pink rose because it symbolizes gratitude, appreciation and thankfulness.  These roses are often given to acknowledge a meaningful event with a heartfelt message.  The rose is also being celebrated this year as the International Herb Of The Year.
I added heart's to the teacup to represent joy, love and happiness.  I wanted this painting to feel happy in honor of all women who have survived life's challenges.

While the tea is in support of raising funds to prevent cancer, it is also a celebration for women who have survived cancer.

I am donating a limited edition giclee print to the Pink Garden Tea to help raise funds.  Information on how YOU can own this print coming soon!

Wishing you a happy and creative day,
