2014 Pink Garden Tea Fundraiser Painting Is Finished!

"The very sight of a teapot puts a smile on the face of most people. One cannot help but  think of more serene and genteel times. From a whimsical child’s teapot to an elegant English Teapot, to collectibles that adorn some homes, they are a subtle reminder of all that is good in this world." Barbara Roberts

Garden Party was created for this year's Pink Garden Tea Fundraiser.  One 8x10 giclee' print with mat will be gift packaged and donated for silent auction in this annual event.

The tea is about "Women supporting Women" and this years theme is Friendship, Roses and Royal Tea.  The funds raised from this years tea will be given to the East Kootenay Foundation For Health in support of new equipment needed in the maternity ward of the Creston Hospital.

Spend an afternoon with us in the gardens under the pink canopy, while enjoying High Tea, delightful dainties and the company of other fabulous women.

This is a fabulous painting, Laura, and even more so 'in the flesh'. Congratulations on a job extremely well done, and such a wonderful contribution to the community!

This one challenged me Win, but, I did try to put some love into every brush load of paint and hopefully that comes through!

Thank You Celia. Overall, I am pleased with it, although, I'm not about to paint another chintz patterned teapot anytime soon!
