Pearl Blossoms ~ My Newest Painting At The Fernie Arts Station

Half of the pleasure of painting and feeling the joy of the creative act is sharing it with others and the feeling of connection. It could just be the colour. But it is something that someone other than you has seen and felt. It is momentous. It is magic.

May has been a whirlwind of activity.  I've been busy in the studio completing new paintings for upcoming art shows and galleries and shops opening for the summer tourist season.

The above painting is just one of several included in an exhibit with artists Eileen Gidman and Win Dinn at the Fernie, BC Arts Station titled "On The Wall - Off The Wall".  If you're in the area please join us for our opening reception Thursday, May 28th at 7:00pm.  The show continues through to June 22, 2015.

I am also participating in a new art show at the Creston Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre.
(more local artists are also on display in the Creston Library).  Be sure to check out both locations!

If you are traveling through the Creston Valley this summer be sure to put these locations on your
"list of places to see".  The exhibits change every two months and are on-going throughout the year.

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful week!
